I needed to read something where my eyes could rest. Where my mind could rest. But where I would still be fulfilled.
I could hum along through this book and still feel and acknowledge the heavy themes occurring (hooray for me and this book).
The book told me about giving up dreams, and that you aren’t the only one who gives up dreams, a million other people have as well, and that’s that really.
Hooray for acknowledging that.
And hooray for still fighting it anyways.
