BOOKS READ 08: THE UNBEARABLE LIGHTNESS OF BEING BY MILAN KUNDERA
I feel like this book has had some really outdated looking covers for most of its book life. This one is alright, and I think (think!) it’s the latest one, but man, it was admittedly pretty hard for me to pick up this book and take it seriously with the past covers (http://abbyf.files.wordpress.com/2009/01/unbearablelightness.jpg).
As for the actual book itself, I felt like I can see why it’s a best seller and well loved, I just don’t think I was quite ready or in the right state of mind for it all to hit me, and I think if I was, this would have been an absolutely exceptional book.
